T/TACs provide a variety of request-based support services and assistance to public school and early intervention personnel. Services include a lending library, quarterly newsletter, Web site & T/TAC Online, workshops & training, information resources, referrals to other agencies, and small group and individual consultations.
Consultations and Long-Term Technical Assistance Agreements
Priority for consultations and long-term technical assistance agreements will be given to personnel in schools designated in warning status and/or not meeting Adequate Yearly Progress as identified by the Virginia Department of Education or those identified as Priority Project model sites.

T/TACs take requests for individual on-site services and fill those requests by providing resources from their library, phone consultations, referral, and links to other resources. T/TACs build local capacity to access information and resources for individual consultations and on-site inservices, often by utilizing a team-based and/or train the trainer approach.
Regional Workshops
Strategically designed training occurs in regions throughout the Commonwealth on topics identified by the priority projects or by local school systems. These are many of the same topics T/TACs have emphasized in workshops, but efforts are now coordinated with the VDOE and other T/TACs to enhance a comprehensive system of professional development..

Information Dissemination
Newsletters, information searches, links to related resources and consultants, and a lending library of resource and reference books, materials, videotapes, assistive technology, and software is available by phone, e-mail, fax, or web-based request to personnel in the region.
