Early Childhood

Provides training and technical assistance for personnel working with toddlers who transition from early intervention services to special education programs to use effective practices in early childhood education. The focus for coordinated activities are practices that foster students with disabilities' interaction with their non-disabled peers and address early learning standards, including early literacy, and curricula. Collects, analyzes, and disseminates data on indicator #7 addressing preschool students’ outcomes for VA’s State Performance Report.
